The mission of the 100 Black Men Of West Texas, Inc. is to improve the quality of life for all residents of Lubbock, Texas and West Texas with emphasis on empowering African-Americans.

The Charles & Rose Hankson Annual Fishing Derby will be held Saturday, July 9th 7am - 2pm Dunbar Lake in Mae Simmons Park *FREE TO THE PUBLIC - ALL AGES WELCOME!* A limited number of free fishing rods will be available for use Hot Dogs & Burgers Provided for Lunch Lake will be freshly stocked to increase chances of catching fish!

The 100 Black Men of West has partnered with the local Police Academy to promote more diversity within our department. Representation is very important and we will do our best to make that happen...#BeTheChange
